Ich bin tief traurig. Wie kann es sein, dass immer die Besten jung sterben? Als ich davon gehört habe, konnte ich es nicht glauben. Ich kann es immer noch nicht glauben.
Heath, du warst ein großartiger Schauspieler.

Oh, my god i was so shocked when i heard that Heath is death. He was defently too young and he was the best Actor ever. Im sorry for his Daughter because she will miss a great Daddy in her Life. I cant Understand it.

Hallo,
mein Relilehrer hat mal gesagt das es nich darauf ankommt ob man lebt oder nicht – die Religion die Freundschaft, die Verbundenheit mit einem Menschen wird erwig bestehn und Gott wird dir helfen weiterhin mit ihn zu kommunizieren. Wir sehen ihn nicht, hören und fühlen ihn nicht, doch er ist neben Gott und versucht mit uns zu reden.
Ich bin um ehrlich zu sein nich wirklich gläubich, aber als er uns das erklärt hat, da war ich irgendwie gerührt, weil es stimmt. Freundschaft, Liebe geht nicht zwischen zwei Körpern aus, sonder von der verbundenheit der seelen…und die wird ewig bei uns sein…wenn auch der Körper dies nich tun wird..
Ich finde dieser Glaube schenkt ein so unendlich viel Kraft – trotzdem sollte man trauern…alles braucht seine Zeit
Ich werde ihn ganz sicher vermissen..

Heath war ein genialer Schauspieler!
Am meisten tut mir seine Tochter leid, die ihren Vater verloren hat. Mein herzliches Beileid an seine Familie!

I’m so mournful, that Heath is dead.
He was a great actor and he has so much fans who’ll never forget him.
I could’nt believe this sad message about his death, so i first thought, that this was just a bad joke, but by degrees i realized, that it’s the truth.
I think, it must be a really bad time for you (his family), especially for his doughter who cannot realize this in this times, but later, when she is grown up, it must be very difficult for her to live without a father on her side.
I hope, that you all can overcome this pain and that you don’t forget, that he is always in your heart and stands by your side.
We’ll all miss hin. <3

Das Leben zeigt immerwieder und all zu oft wie unfair es sein kann. Dieser Vorfall stimmt mich traurig und ich will es gar nicht glauben!
Heath wirkte auf mich immer wie jemand ganz besonderes und das ist er auch noch immer in meinen Augen.

Zuerst einmal mein Herzliches Beileid an die Familie!
Ich war tief bestürzt, als ich von der Nachricht erfuhr!
Er war ein guter Schauspieler der mich mit jedem seiner Filme begeistert hat! Es macht mich traurig, ihn bald nicht mehr im Kino bewundern zu können!
Sein herzliches Lächeln wird mir fehlen, aber ich werde es nicht vergessen und in guter Erinnerung behalten!

Ich finde keine Worte, außer dass es mich tief getroffen hat und ich große Anteilnahme empfinde mit seiner Familie und Freunden!!
28 Jahre ist kein Alter zum sterben und ich kann nur hoffen, dass seine Familie ganz viel Kraft und Trost finden wird in der jetzt kommenden so schweren Zeit!!!

Hallo,
ich konnte es gar nicht fassen, als ich es heute morgen im Radio gehört habe. Ich dachte ich hatte mich verhört. Es ist nicht zu verstehen, weshalb er sterben musste. Seine Filme waren faszinierend, wieviel Emotionen und Ausdruck er in seinen Rollen miteinbring. Er war en großartiger Mensch, mit einem so schönen und mitreißendem Lächeln.
Ich wünsche seiner Familie alles gute für die Zukunft, insbesondere seiner kleinen Tochter Matilda. Sie wird ihr Leben nicht mit ihm zusammen leben können, aber er wird in ihrem Herzen für immer weiterleben.
Mein vollstes Mitgefühl und möge er in Frieden ruhen.

Ich bin wirklich geschockt, dass es so gekommen ist. Vorallem weil es uns alle so unvorbereitet traf, in so jungen Jahren sein Leben zu lassen hinterlässt tiefe Spuren.
Es stimmt mich nachdenklich was ihn dazu bewegt haben könnte, ich hoffe das er nun an einem besseren Ort ist.
Heath? Du warst ein großartiger Schauspieler & du wirst in den Filmen und in unseren Erinnerungen weiterleben.

Im so sad hearing about Heaths Death. I couldnt belive whats happening!
I was shocked and very down about hearing the news.
Heath was my Favorite Actor! I´ve watched all movies…my favorite one was A Knight’s Tale i loved Heaths role in this movie. He was the one who upsets me the most.
He seemed shy and friendly to me. I think he´ve been a very close to earth guy ! I just want to let you know that i am wearing mourning and the whole world too ! I will never forget my favorite and very brilliant actor and dream-guy…

I was so shocked when I heard about the death of Heath. Shortly after midnight I watched some news in TV and heard about that drama.
I’m so sorry for everybody, his family and his friends. I pray to god to give you strenght and I think Heath will be ok in heaven. He was the best young actor I know.

I am so shocked about the death of Heath Ledger!
I haven´t realised yet that he is not alive anymore, although I have never met this person tears are running down my face when I think about the fact that such a young person had to die and left his beloved ones with so much pain and sadness!
He is one of my favourite actors since the first time I saw him, can´t believe that he s gone!

It’s hard enough for his fans to loose an actor, but it is even harder for all thouse people who really meet him, lougth with him, now him on his own.

When I heard the news today, I was kind a shocked. The breaking news. That’s a word. Necbreaking I’d say. I never felt this about an unknown person before. I mean, I know nearly all his movies where he often used to be this hilarious person. But I don’t know him in personal,… welll as most of his fans. I always thought, people are crazy, who are concerned this much by the death of a favorite celebrity. But know I hit rock bottom.

I was truely shocked when I heard about Heath’s passing this morning. As some people in this blog said before I would have never thought I’d ever feel so sorry for a celeb’s death.
But in this case I do …
Heath has been an amazing actor with the talent to touch other people’s souls. I hope he’ll find peace wherever he is now and that he’ll watch over his little daughter who now has to challenge life without a Daddy.

Als ich des heute morgen um halb 6 gehört habe,dachte ich das kann doch gar nicht war sein und war ziemlich geschockt und als ich dann zur arbeit ging,kamen mir die tränen!

First of all , when I heard it in the radio I had to sit down . I wasn´t able to breathe or to think. Then I thought that he was so young . He has a daughter . He loved to be a father .
I saw his moves , I wonder why . He was such a brilliant actor , such a brilliant man – actually I have never met but I always felt something for him . I don´t know what it is but it always felt good thinking of him . When he smiled , it seems the world smiled with him .
And now that he is gone , it seems that the wolrd stop breathing .
I can´t understand why he had to go , he was so young , so full of life..please god , please tell me why

Der Tod von Menschen die wir bewundern hinterlässt tiefste Trauer. Wir fragen uns warum er starb, aber wir werden nie eine Antwort kriegen.
Ich werde ihn nie vergessen und die Filme von ihm werden jetzt bei mir noch an bedeutung gewinnen denn erst wenn jemand weg ist erkennt man die Bedeutung und Bewunderung die man für diesen jemanden empfunden hat.
Ich bin der Meinung dass er, auch wenn ich ihn noch nie gesehen hab, ein besonderer mensch war und er mit seinem Lächeln hätte tausenden Mädchen auf einmal den Atem rauben können.
Ich habe, seit ich „10 things I hate about you“ gesehen habe, diesen gedanken gehabt, den bestimmt viele mädchen und vielleicht auch jungen hatten: WAS FÜR EIN TOLLER SCHAUSPIELER!
und nun erfüllt es mich mit Trauer, dass gerade so junge menschen die eine echte Zukunft hatten, sterben.
er ist bei euch (seiner Familie) und wird euch beschützen.
und die welt hat er bezaubert mit seinen Filmen und seinem unvergesslichen Lächeln.

i cannot find any words to describe how i feel about this loss. sure i cannot believe this. it is so unreal to me, how come a young father has to leave this world soo soon? too soon! where’s the sense in that?
heath was such a great actor and really gifted with talent. though i dont know him personally i was very sorry to hear about his death. he was so young. i always loved the way he smiled, full with warmth, and so hearty. it’s a great great loss for the world, for hollywood and after all for the family. i wish heath’s family&friends all the best, that they will overcome the hole he’d left behind. my wishes to his sweet daughter and the mother of her’s. i include you in my prayers tonite.

Ich kann einfach nur sagen, dass es mir wirklich Leid tut… Es ist furchtbar, jemanden zu verlieren, der einem am Herzen liegt. Heath war ein wunderbarer Schauspieler.
Auch wenn es Sie vielleicht nicht trösten kann, ich werde ihn lange in Erinnerung behalten, denn seine Rollen waren außergewöhnlich und sein Charme hat die Filme zu meinen persönlichen Klassikern gemacht.
Ich hoffe, Heath findet Ruhe, da wo er jetzt ist. Es ist einfach furchtbar, einen so jungen und wunderbaren Menschen zu verlieren.
Ich kenne ihn nicht, aber wenn sein Charakter ähnlich war, wie es sein Charme bei Filmen rübergebracht hat, dann bin ich noch mehr in Trauer.

It is a terrible loss for the family, the friends and the world in general
he was a talented young actor with a great future ahead of him and a successful career to look at. One of the few really great talents hollywood has brought up over the last decade. it is a big loss to the film industry.
my thoughts go out to his family, to his friends, to michelle and of course to his little daughter who we all know he loved very dearly.
it is a shame and a pity that such a great actor and person had to leave us this early in his life

I’ve just heard that Heath is dead. My best friend told me and I was like „Stop joking around, that isn’t funny… or are you for real?“ The creepiest thing was that after I had seen 10 things I hate about you, I thought that he looked a little like James Dean and I was like „Hopefully he doesn’t die that young, too.“
I have never been that obsessive about film stars like most people my age, but I liked Heath Ledger’s way of acting, it looked so real. I don’t know what the cause of his end is, but I know for sure that I feel sorry for his family.
I hope he’s found peace in death.

Es ist schrecklich… ich lag heut morgen auf dem Sofa und habs im TV gesehen! Ich kanns nicht fassen… Hollywood hat einen tollen Schauspieler verloren! Ich bin traurig, denn ich fand ihn immer total gut! Ich wünsche seiner Tochter und seiner Familie in Australien alles Gute… es waren zwar nur 28 Jahre.. aber schöne 28 Jahre hatte er! Ein tolles Leben, so schien es jedenfalls!

At first I thought it was a joke, when I heard about it.
It was too cruel that this thought wasn’t confirmed.
Honestly, I can’t find the perfect words, to describe how sorry I am for his family, his friends and especially his little daughter.
Heath is a great loss. Not only for his family and friends, but also for all his fans. He wasn’t just a great actor, but a lovely personality. And that’s what people will keep in mind.
He will live on in his movies. Everytime we’ll see one of his movies it will be like he was still there. And of course he will live on in our hearts.
He can’t be gone forever now, he was way too young.
Whatever the reason for his death might have been… I hope that he is at a place now, which is better for him. That’s what he deserves.
Again I wanna offer my deepest condolences to his relatives.

I heard about it the same day at twelve o´clock in the night and i was so very upset. I cried that day and the next day even if I just knew him from tv.
He was my favourite actor since his first film, because he was a special one=)
So in memory i´m so sorry for his familiy and friends. I always loved to see him in his films, i can´t believe it.

in dem moment brach für mich ein teil meiner welt zusammen… erw ar ein klasse schauspieler…. mit sehr viel aussagekraft, emotionen un charakter…. es ist nicht fair, dass menschen so früh von uns gehen, wie in ihrem leben so viel bewegt haben… wieso sterben die menschen nicht, die unheil oder gar verbrechen begangen haben? wenn es einen gott da oben gibt, wieso hat er nicht dafür gesorgt dass so etwas passiert?

Ich werde nie den Tag vergessen an dem die schlimme nachricht gekommen ist, dass Heath Ledger tot aufgefunden wurde. Ich kann es jetzt noch nicht glauben, er war so ein genialer/toller/umwerfender Schauspieler! Einer meiner Lieblingsschauspieler und, dass so jemand in so jungen jahren stirbt ist einfach nur furchtbar! Ich habe schon geweint als ich die Nachricht gehört habe und kann mir gar nicht vorstellen wie das für seine Familie+ Freunde sein muss!

This morning i woke up… normally with my radio playing!
!!!
At six O’ clock i heard the news… also very normal !
but then in the second sentence of the speaker i heard about the case of death… I was shocked, couldn’t realize that one of my favourite actors has DIED ! Then I told my Mom. She was shocked, too.
I want to tell the parents and Family of Heath that you could be very very proud of your son !!!
He gave so many emotical help to many people (inclouding me) He made us smiling, laughing, crying, he surprised us so many times, too
I wish you good thoughts for the difficult next time !!!
And never forget: there’s one who loves all. the ones who are dissappointed, sad and bleak. It’s god !!! And he’s closer to you this time than ever! Ask him why that happend and be faithful and candid, so he would answer !!! My condolence from germany…

Although only few of us can claim to have known Heath Ledger properly, I am sure that all of us can claim to mourn the death of one of the most interesting men in new cinema history. I am sorry but I feel proud to have been one of the witnesses of his career. His acting gave so much, for he not only portrayed characters, he gave them life.
It is obvious that we all have to get on with our lifes, but it will be so much harder with the knowledge that an important person has gone.

I am truly sorry for Heath Ledger’s family and friends. They have lost a son, a brother, a cousin, a father, a friend. The world has lost a star who was about to become one of the greatest actors.
I wasshocked when I heard it on the radio this morning; I couldn’t believe it as he was only 28. I am really sad and taken aback which is weird because I have never met or even known him. To me he was simply a fabulous actor who reached for the stars and almost made it there. I have loved his movies and I still do. But, I think it was his likeable charisma, the way he acted, the way he smiled and the way he cared for his daughter and the ones he loved.
I am especially sorry for little Matilda who has lost an amazing dad.
We have lost Heath Ledger but through Matilda he stays alive.

This is really tragic, Heath was such a great person and he was about to be one of the best actors in the world. I watched almost all of his movies and I was sure that he would make his career during the next years. I’m trying to understand what his last thinking was but all we can do now is to thank him for the time he was with us. He once said that he will live on in his lovley daughter.

Heath war ein großartiger Schauspieler und seinen Tod zu realisieren ist sehr schwer für mich.
Doch ich denke, dass nur diejenigen wirklich sterben, die in Vergessenheit geraten und dies wird Heath sicherlich nicht passieren, da er einen Weg in viele Herzen dieser Welt gefunden hat – sei dies nun durch seine Schauspielerei oder auf anderen Wegen.

When I heard about his definitely to early death this morning I couldn’t believe it! I’m still very shocked! He was my favourite actor and I admired him in all his films, especially in „10 things I hate about you“! It is hard to realize this and try to handle it by any means, first of all for his family and friends whom I want to tell my heartfelt condolences!! You probably never will get over it but I wish you lots of power to bear it!
Doubtless Heath leaves a gap but never in our hearts!!

Heath war ein großartiger Schauspieler und seinen Tod zu realisieren ist sehr schwer für viele….Er war doch noch so jung! Er hatte seine ganze Karriere vor sich!! Für viele war er einer der besten Schauspieler. Es ist wirklich schade um ihn und das solche Leute so früh sterben
Ich wünsche trotz allem, dass er seinen Frieden findet und ich zeige Mitgefühl für seine Familie und seine Freunde vor allem für seine Tochter und ebenfalls für Michelle!!!

Ich frage mich warum ein so junger erfolgreicher Mensch sterben muss!
Er hatte noch viel vor sich und er war hamma hübsch! Er hätte noch soooo viel aus sich machen können….Medien gingen ja zuerst von einem Selbstmord aus, doch das glaub ich nicht….warum sollte er sowas tun?!? Man kann die Zeit leider nicht zurück drehen um dies zu verhinder….man kann nur noch sagen, das er hoffentlich seinen Frieden findet!

I am so sorry, that Heath Ledger died! He was a great actor, and I think he also was a fantastic person. He was definetly too young to die, and I am very sorry for his daughter, who never will know her father.

Die Nachricht dass Heath tot ist hat mich sehr traurig gemacht, er war ein wunderbarer Schauspieler!!!!
Den Film Brokeback Mountain habe ich schon so oft mit meiner besten Freundin geschaut, dass man es nicht zählen kann, wir waren so beiendruckt von diesem Film, so haben wir uns vorgenommen nach dem Abitur für ein Jahr auf einer amerikanischen Farm zu arbeiten und zu leben, das ist unser größter Traum und er hat uns dazu inspiriert!!!
Heath wird in den Herzen seiner Familie in den Herzen der Fans und in seinen Filmen weiterleben.

Ich kann es auch noch immer nicht fassen und zutiefst bestürzt, als ich es heute morgen gehört habe! Jetzt bekommen seine Filme eine ganz andere Bedeutung. Sicherlich ist ein schwerer Schlag für all die Fans dieses tollen Schauspielers, doch für die Familie und Freunde die ihn gekannt haben ist es noch viel viel schlimmer. At frist time i coudn´t cry, because i was soo shocked!! but now i realize what´s going on! heath was a special man, he was actor with passion a daddy with passion an a lovely guy!! My sympathy belong to his family, daughter, friends and fans, like me!! we will never forget you.
I think that god had one more special angel in heaven! and heath see us in heaven!!! heath thanks for all your movies and happy, sad and funny moments with you!!! god will be with him and protect him 4 ever!! i´ll never forget you!!

ich bin traurig und sehr schockiert, wohl auch, weil es ihm wirklich sehr schlecht gegangen sein muss – sollte selbstmord bestätigt werden. schließlich lässt man nicht einfach so seine liebsten zurück!
Ich wünsche mir für seine Tochter und seine Angehörigen, dass er in guter Erinnerung behalten wird, als der großartige Schauspieler, der er in meinen Augen war, besonders in seiner letzten großen Rolle als Joker – atemberaubend!

Hallo,
der Verlust von Heath für seine Familie, Freunde, seine Fans und alle die ihn mochten, kannten, liebten und lieben werden ist schrecklich. Keiner kann fassen was passiert ist. Tiefe Trauer umhüllt mein Herz an diesem Mittwoch, der für viele Menschen auf dieser Welt ein sehr schwarzer ist. Ich bin mit meinen Gedanken bei seiner Famile und besonders seiner Tochter. Sie hat ihren Vater verloren, das ist schrecklich, für immer wird ein Teil von ihr fehlen.
Das einzige was ich wohl noch sagen kann ist, das es mir schrecklich Leid tut und das ich hoffe das seine Familie diese schmerzhaften Tage gut übersteht.

Es ist wieder mal ein Beweis, das man sein Leben nicht steuern kann, irgendwann ist es zuende & es ist Zeit zu gehen.

Ich bin fassungslos und absolut sprachlos! Finde keine Worte die meine Trauer ausdrücken!! Heath du warst ein absolut genialer Schauspieler!!

Er war nicht nur „ein“ Schauspieler, er war für viele „der“ Schauspieler überhaupt. Durch die vielen Communities und alle Kommentare die man mittlerweile im Internet lesen kann, sieht man, dass Hollywood doch nicht so weit entfernt ist wie es scheint. Durch die Filme, die uns zum Lachen oder Weinen bringen, dadurch, dass Schauspieler uns mit ihren Rollen berühren und wir uns mit ihnen identifizieren können, leben sie doch in uns irgendwo weiter.
Heath – Danke für die schönen Stunden im Kino und vor dem Fernseher.

When my boyfriend told me about the tragic death of Heath, I first could not believe it. I still can not.
For me he was one of the most inspiring actors, who moved so many people, touched their hearts.
He played so many different roles and in this roles we will remember him.
His death makes me cry and so do his films.
It really touched me to hear that we will never see his smiling face again, the face, who made people laugh, cry, hope and believe.
I wish his family the best. My thoughts are with you and I hope, one day you will be able to continue.

It’s hard to find words, which weren’t said yet.
But it’s much harder to believe what happend.
When I heard about it, it was about midnight and I just came home. And since then, there’s always a question on my mind. „Is that the truth? Did that really happen?“
But it did.. For a lot of people it’s hard to realise.
In every role, he did an excellent job. He was for me the best actor ever. Most of his films are still my favourtie movies – but when I’ll watch them for the next time, it’ll be so different.
He and his spirit will definitely survive in his movies – his grin will be on my mind for so long.. Heath was and is such an amazing and inspiring actor.
I wish that his family is strong enough to manage those hard times.

Es ist ein großer Schock…
Heath war einer meiner liebsten Schauspieler.
Er war so gefühlvoll, humorvoll, sympatisch, intelligent. Er hatte einfach Charakter. Er hatte ein gewisses Niveau. Und das gewisse etwas.
Er war etwas besonderes. Etwas ausergewöhnliches.
Ich verstehs einfach nicht wie solch ein wunderbarer Mensch aus dem Leben gerissen wird. Er war doch noch so jung. Er hatte noch sein ganzes Leben vor sich. Und seine kleine Tochter… Es ist einfach alles so traurig.
Jeden einzelnen Film habe ich von Heath gesehn. Ich war und bin ein großer Fan von Heath. Und ich werde dich sehr vermissen

Es ist traurig einen Mann tot zu sehen der sein ganzes Leben noch vor sich hatte. Eine kleine Tochter wollte er aufwachsen sehen, wollte vielleicht selber einmal Enkel haben.
Heath, du hast selbst gesagt dass du keine Angst vor dem sterben hast sondern nur dass du deine Tochter nicht aufwachsen siehst und sie nicht beschützen kannst.

Ich bin noch völlig schockiert.
Irgendwas in mir hofft immer noch, dass das alles eine riesen Zeitungsente ist!
Ich war nie der größte Heath Ledger Fan, aber es trifft mich doch, wenn ein so junger, talentierter Mensch stirbt. Er war einer der sehr wenigen Schauspieler, die mich wirklich tief bewegt haben.
Mein herzliches Beileid an seine Famile und Freunde, für die es sicher sehr schwer ist seinen Tod zu verarbeiten, während sich die Presse darauf stürzt!
Ich hätte gerne noch viel mehr von Haeth gesehen.

heath war echt ein sehr sehr guter schauspieler und die filme in denen er gespielt hatte, waren welche der besten die ich je gesehen hab! natürlich kam es plötzlich, alle sind geschockt wie man bemerkt, aber ich hoffe für ihn, und für seine kleine tochter, das er mal so eine legende wird, das sich jeder an ihn erinnert, denn er hat es wirklich verdient! schwer wird es für seine tochter sein, da sie ihn nicht kennt, aber später in filmen sehen kann, und so sagen kann, das war mein vater, auch wenn sie nicht viel von ihm erfuhr! ich wünsche der kleinen das sie später sehr stolz sein kann auf ihren vater, denn dieser hat echt gute „Arbeit“ geleistet, was er auch tat!

I am absolutely shocked about the death of this wonderful and talented young man. My heart just broke into pieces when i heard the news that morning. I pray for his family, michelle williams and especially for little mathilda rose. This little girl has to be so strong right now and through her entire life. I just want to let mathilda know that her daddy was a wonderful man who died too young but as he said in an interview- he lives through her.

As everyone else who posted an entry here for the memory of Heath Ledger I was incredibly shocked and deeply moved about his far too early death. There was only one thing in my mind: WHY?
He was a genius actor and a young man with a whole life still to live and I feel very, very sorry for him and now especially for his family that he leaves behind. He will always be remembered with greatest respect, love, and thankfulness for what he gave to the world. Making people smile is probably the greatest achievement in the world. Heath gave us more than smiles- hope.
Hemingway said that no one we really love is ever dead. Heath will live on in our memories and in our laments for the loss of one of the greatest actors there ever were. I send my wishes to his family and hope and pray that they will keep the faith in these hard times.

Ich kannte Heath Ledger hauptsächlich aus dem Film „Ritter aus Leidenschaft“. Und diese Rolle hat er definitiv mit Leidenschaft gespielt. Er kannte keinen anderen Ausweg aus dieser Situation, in der er sich befand. Er war vielleicht mit den Kräften am Ende und will von dort, wo auch immer dieser Ort ist, seine Familie und vorallem seine kleine Tochter beschützen. Doch es gibt immer einen Ausweg, auch wenn man nicht daran glaubt oder einfah nicht danach suchen will, weil man keine Kraft mehr hat. Als ich heute Morgen in der Schule davon gehört hab, war ich echt geschockt, wie er in der Blüte seines Lebens einfach gehen kann. Ich hoffe, dass seine Familie weiß, das sie nicht allein trauern muss, denn es gibt so viele Menschen, die ihn mochten und er wird immer in unserem Herzen weiterleben. Rest in Peace

you did such a wonderful job in Brokeback Mountain and I’m so looking foward to The Dark Knight. You’ll go down in history with this and it breaks my heart to know that you don’t get to witness all the anticipation and excitment that’s building around this movie at the moment.
he had so many exciting things coming up, he was young and beautiful and the father of a sweet little baby girl who has to grow up without her daddy now.

ich bin fassungslos und wirklich traurig, einer der besten Schauspieler der Welt musste viel zu früh gehen. Aber wir werden ihn in unseren Herzen tragen und durch seine Familie und vor allem seine Tochter wird er weiterleben. Warum müssen es immer die guten sein, die die Welt so ohne Grund verlassen? Wir werden es wohl nie wissen, aber es wird seine Gründe dafür geben, auch wenn sie unergründlich scheinen mögen.
Ich wünsche der Familie, den Freunden und den Fans die Kraft, den großen Verlust so gut wie möglich zu verkraften und die schönen Momente für immer in ihren Herzen behalten zu können.

The news of Heath’s death made me incredibly sad. He was one of my all time favourite actors who has gave me so much even though I never knew him in person. He was a wonderfully talented actor who deliberately turned away from heartthrob teen roles and became a true charater actor. Many of his movies touched me deeply, especially Brokeback Mountain. Seeing one of my favourite actors in a film that meant so much to me and stood for everything I believe in was one of the greatest joys a complete stranger could ever have caused for me.
I will often watch his movies and regret that he couldn’t have made more.
My condolences go to all those who were close to him, especially his little daughter who is still too young to understand what happened. But one day she will, and I hope she will be proud of what her father achieved in the short amount of time he had. It’s just so sad that she will never have a real memory of him and not even much more than we – the fans – have.

I still can not realize what I have read in the newspaper today.
First I thought it was a mistake or something, but then I heard it on CNN. He is dead. I am still shocked. I cried the hole day. I am so sorry for his family and especially for his little daughter. It is such a big tragedy that such a great actor and person had to die at such a young age.
So all my love goes to his family and friends.

I really don’t know how to begin this. As I heard the news on TV I was simply shocked. My blood ran into my head and my stumack felt as if it was going on a rollercoster. I just couldn’t believe what I’ve heard and I didn’t want to accept the fact that Heath is really gone. He was a great guy, a brilliant actor and, most important a wonderful human beeing.
You have lost a part of your life and all I can do is pray for you, sending positive thoughts and hope, that they will reach and support you.

An awesome actor, a great daddy…a young man. He made many people laugh and cry. And many many people will miss him. So do I.
I was really shocked by his sudden death but I’m glad he was alive. Though I never met him, I feel with his family and friends.

I first saw Heath in „10 things…“ and normally i don’t like this kind of movies, but his performance was so charming, that he brighted the whole movie. He was an actor, who was able to save also indifferent movies like „the four feathers“. Very sad that we can’t follow his further career.

I know, I didn’t knew him, I am only someone who saw his movies and liked him in his way he was on Tv, anyway I hope that you as his family and friends will find a little bit of peace and comfort in our words. Its a late night time and I am still in thoughts about a man who I never got to know live, but whos way of playing moved me very deeply.
Can you think of I watched Brokeback Mountain the first time two weeks ago and became fascinated by the actors. I listened to the score, played the songs myself and thought a lot about the wonderful story and the really amazing cast. Of course, I knew Heath Ledger before, most in a wild sunny-boy-manner.
But until the last weeks he really climbed my heart with his abilities in acting, which made his characters serious and real.
So what a deep shocking impact are these news.
Why ?
Why now ?
I am really touched and convinced that the world not just loose a becoming big star, but also one of these famous persons, who had been natural and non-exentric in a nice manner.
I think he tried to be an excellent person in caring for family, saving his private life and beeing quite normal. Thats the special gift he may have been for this world and I am sorry, to loose such a person, because we got not many of them.
I would like get to know all his friends, family and fans, that here is one more person who is confused about the sad reality.
I wish you: Keep Heath Ledger in your mind, meet him in your dreams, honor the things he was good in, and dont forget to send him some greetings when you will meet his soul again…..somewhen, somewhere….
may he sit in his cloud and be proud about how much people he influenced in the best way.

am 22.01. um 23.00 Uhr rief mich ein Freund an und sagte mir, dass er auf N24 gelesen hätte „Heath Ledger ist tot“. Ich dachte „er spinnt“, mein geliebter Heathy kann doch nicht tot sein, dass muss eine Falschmeldung sein!!! Leider ist es doch die traurige Wahrheit und ich bin unendlich traurig darüber! Ich habe dich in dem Film „10 Dinge die ich an dir hasse“ entdeckt und so blöd das auch klingt mich irgendwie total verliebt. Seitdem schaute ich immer fleißig im Internet was es Neues gibt, habe mir alle deine Filme auf DVD gekauft, mein erstes Mercedes Carbio nach dir benannt (weil es auch so schön ist) und jetzt schreiben mir meine Freunde und sagen MIR, wie leid es ihnen tut, dass du nicht mehr da bist, als ob ich dich wirklich gekannt hätte. Schade, dass ich nie die Gelegenheit hatte dich kennen zu lernen.

I cannot say I was a huge fan as I usually do not identify with Hollywood stars, but I was still shocked to hear about his death. At first I couldn’t believe it. He was so young, so good-looking, such a great actor, and he had just had a daughter. How could he be dead from one minute to the other?
I feel really sorry for his family, especially for his parents. It is never good to bury the own children. I also hope that his daughter will keep some of the memories of her father and treasure them later.
I know I can’t say anything to ease the pain. I hope you have someone who can.

Heath Ledger – a great, talented young actor, a loving father and surely an adorable, nice guy, though I had never had the privilege to know him except for his film roles. Besides, for me he was – and still is – the face for one of the main characters in a yet unpublished novel.
I can still not imagine, that, after the Batman film, I will never be able to go to the cinema and watch a film with him.
It’s a tragedy and I feel deeply sorry for his family and friends. May he rest in peace forever.

Ich konnte es gar nicht fassen, als ich gestern von seinem Tod erfuhr…
Es ist zu traurig, um diese Wahrheit zu begreifen…der wohl mit beste und talentierteste Jung-Schauspieler ist von uns gegangen…wir werden ihn nie wieder auf der Leinwand bewundern, mit ihm lachen oder weinen können…
Es trifft immer die Falschen, aber ich bin mir sicher, dort, wo er jetzt ist, wird er auf uns herabschauen und sich freuen, dass wir ihm so gedenken und ihn nie vergessen werden!

Heath was probably the last of all famous persons I know of that I expected to die – so very suddenly for me. I never thought that I could be so shocked over the death of someone I had never personally met.
I greatly admired his work as an actor, and still do. I believe that with him one of the greatest talents of my generation was lost.
I was especially shocked because I have a ring on my finger, and the name on it is the one of a character of a yet unpublished novel that found a face in Heath. And even though they are different characters and people, for me the connection is still there, and this makes it all the more surreal to me.
I’m very sorry for all who knew and loved him, and especially for his daughter.
I’ll surely remember him as long as I live.

I was very shocked to hear from Heath’s death and even a day later, I surprise myself with wondering: Is this for real? I kind of grew up with his movies, I watched Ten things I hate about you while I was in puberty and always said that A Knights Tale was one of the few movies I could never get enough from. Coincidently, in the last couple of days I promised to myself I would finally watch Brokeback Mountain. It’s gonna be different watching it now. Heath was a very talented young man, who always seemed to be very nice and lovely, even though I didn’t know him.
Right now I can only express my condolences to his family and friends. May you always remember for the reasons you loved him so much.

Ich kann nicht glauben, was passiert ist.
Es berührt mich sehr, auch wenn man ihn nur aus den Filmen oder Medien kannte. Aber er hatte etwas phantastisches an sich, was mich sehr gefesselt hat. Es tut sehr weh. Ich habe gerne Filme mit ihm gesehen. Er muss ein toller Mensch gewesen sein.
In Gedanken bin ich bei ihm und bei allen, die ihm nahe standen. Mein Mitfgefühl gilt besonders seine kleinen Tochter. Du hattest einen wunderbaren Daddy!!!

Ich kann gar nicht glauben, wie betroffen ich doch bin. Dabei bin ich gar nicht so ein großer Fan gewesen, hab halt nur gerne seine Filme gesehen. Aber trotzdem ist der Gedanke, dass da nie mehr etwas Neues mit ihm kommen wird, fast unerträglich.

Ich bin total schockiert von seinem Tod, obwohl ich ihn nur aus Filmen kenne, kommt es mir vor als wäre ich irgendwo mit ihm verbunden…egal was ich mache, ich kann an nichts anderes mehr denken als an seinen Tod. Warum trifft es immer diejenigen, die es am wenigsten verdient haben???Vor allem betrifft es mich, das seine kleine Tochter ohnen ihren wundervollen Vater aufwachsen muss…in Gedanken bin immer bei ihm und ich hoffe er ist dort wo er jetzt is glücklich!!!mein tiefstes mitleid gehört seine nahsten angehörigen und freunden…

Es ist nicht in Worte zu fassen wie groß das Loch ist was du jetzt in unseren Herzen hinterlässt. Du warst ein großartiger Mensch. Deiner Familie, deinen Freunden, deinen Kollegen und allen denen die um dich Trauern wünsche ich ganz viel Kraft. Deine Tochter kann stolz von dir erzählen wenn sie groß ist. Du warst ein toller Mensch, schade das du schon gehen musstest. In Wahrheit warst du zu jung zum sterben.

heath war einer der besten schauspieler die es gab…das er so jung gestorben ist, ist sehr hart für mich. Ich kannte ihn zwar nicht persönlich aber er war ein toller und großartiger schauspieler, die der filmwelt fehlen wird.
ich kann es eigentlich noch gar nicht realisieren das der tot ist. =(
doch so einen großen schauspieler kann man nicht vergessen und so wird er immer in unseren erinreungen bleiben.
mein herzliches beileid an die famile und freunde die heath kannten..

Es ist schlimm, wenn ein junger Mensch mitten aus dem Leben gerissen wird. Mich hat diese Nachricht gestern richtig geschockt.
Ich wünsche der Familie viel Kraft, um diese Tragödie irgendwann zu verarbeiten.
Dazu fällt mir ein Satz ein, den Heath erst vor kurzem in einem Interview sagte: „Durch Matilda werd ich weiterleben.“
Ja, das stimmt und er wird auch im Herzen seiner Familie und seiner Fans weiterleben.
Nur ein Mensch, der vergessen ist, weilt nicht mehr unter uns – doch seine Fans und seine Familie werden ihn niemals vergessen.

But I´m sure there are some special persons who have a special light shining out, and he was surely one of them.
My sister called it like this: „he was one of the good ones“.

I was so shocked when I heard about his death. The world and especially the fans have lost a great actor, a great person. But whats more important and makes us sorry, is that his little daughter will not get to know her great father, who gave us so much joy and happiness with his work. We wish his family the strength to handle this situation and especially for Michelle and her daughter we praise.
May Heath rest in peace. We will never forget him.

ich kann es auch noch nicht fassen der gedanken lässt mich auch am heutige tage nicht los er war so toll ein klasse schauspieler und noch dazu so gutaussehend! Seinem familie tut mir unendlich leid da es ja sicher auch für sie total unerwarten gekommen sein muss! Und natürlich seine kleine tochter die nun ohnen papi aufwachsen muss aber wenn sie groß ist wird sie erfahren was für ein toller Mann ihr papa doch gewesen ist und das in unendlich viele Menschen bewundert haben, mich eingeschlossen ich bin furchtbar traurig zu wissen das er tot ist auch wenn ich ihn natürlich nicht persönlich kannte er war der hammer für mich u. es ist furchtbar das nun auser den 2 abgedrehten filmen nie mehr einer mit ihm ins kino kommen wird! Heath du warst der beste und ich werde deine filme auch weiterhin noch schauen! Wir alle werden dich vermissen!

I am still completely schocked and I just can’t believe what happened. I just don’t want this to be true. If it would be possible I would do everything – really everything – to see you alive again, heath. I wish we would have known each other. You were such a sympathic and great person. I liked you since I had seen „10 things I hate about you“. A few weeks ago I planned to watch it again, but until today I didn’t watch it. I always forgot it and now I don’t know wheter I CAN watch the movie. Seeing you… I guess it’s gonna be hard… If I had had one wish for free one week ago

Just the other day, my friends and I were watching a trailer for The Dark Knight and we were really, really wowed with Heath Ledger’s performance. We were all remarking how this guy is showing so much promise and how we were looking forward to seeing more of him. How sad and indeed very untimely to lose him now at the prime of his career and indeed his life. My heartfelt condolences.

My mother told me what has happened when I came to the breakfast and at first I thougt it was a joke. Only a few days before me and my friends had had a Heath-DVD-Night and then… THIS happened.
He was my favourite actor since „10 things I hate about you“ and not only because of his outward appearance. He was such a great actor. Able to be funny in „A Knight’s tale“, creepy in „Sineater“ and absolutely impressive and moving in „Brokeback Mountain“. I thing he would have made it – becoming one of the really great actors of Hollywood. Perhaps he was already, but he was so young and a really great career would have waited for him.
In interviews he allways seemed a kind of shy, but very friendly and kind. Not one of the celebrities who thought that they’re something like gods. He was such of a normal man, like me and you. And his smile… can’t describe it. So warm and friendly that you’ve to smile as well when you see it.
In this moment I think of his little child Matilda who will never know her father. It’s not fair. No it is not. We all were able to see him in the films, in TV, in interviews while he was alive and his own daughter will never be able to experience this.
I will never forget you, Heath. I think nobody will do. I hope that the medias will let your family grieve for you in peace and alone and do not annoy them. We are all sad but not as sad as your parents, your sisters, your friends and Michelle. Nobody is allowed to interrupt them in their mourning.
The world has lost a great man.
I hope, Heath, whereever you are you’re doing fine and are able to watch your daughter growing up. I think she will now that you’re at her side.

Ein Moment der Unfassbarkeit. Ein Moment in dem du keine Worte findest. Findest für das, was vorgefallen ist. Einfach ungegreiflich. Heath war und ist immer noch ein sehr toller, großartiger Mensch. Seine Filme, sein Talent, seine Art zu spielen, haben mich sehr berührt. Heath hat es verstanden Menschen durch kleine Dinge zu berühren und sogar zum Weinen zu bringen…
Es ist immer noch nich wahrzuhaben, dass Heath von uns gegangen ist, egal ob absichtlich oder unabsichtig…. es werden die Tage zeigen…

Ich war und bin immer noch sehr geschockt über das, was passiert ist.
Und auch wenn Heath nun nicht mehr unter uns ist, so bin ich mir sicher, dass ein Mensch wie er nie sterben wird, denn solange ein Verstorbener in den Herzen der Menschen einen Platz gefunden hat, so lebt er auf ewig weiter!
Ich hoffe, dass es ihm möglich ist in unseren Herzen weiter zu leben….doch da bin ich mir ganz sicher, denn eine solche Persönlichkeit, wie er es war wird nie jemand vergessen können!

My father died nine years ago and as I know how horrible it is for a child to burry his father, I think it is even harder to burry his son.

Ich kann es immer noch nicht glauben!
Ich schlage dauernd die Zeitung auf und lese immer wieder den selben Bericht und sehe mir immer wieder seine Bilder an! Doch es ist so unglaublich!
Heath war ein toller Schauspieler und ein toller Mensch. Er hat sicherlich viele Leute geprägt.
Ich wünsche seiner Familie, dass sie mit dem Verlust fertig werden, obwohl es sicherlich schwer ist!
Ich bin mir sicher, dass er über seine kleine Tochter immer wachen wird und ich wünsche ihr das Beste dieser Welt sehr viel Kraft.
Ja, es ist ungerecht, doch ich bin der Meinung, dass Gott ihn nicht umsonst zu sich geholt hat …

Der Schock sitzt immer noch sehr tief. Meine Anteilnahme geht vor allem an seine Familie und Freunde. Ich hoffe, dass sie in dieser schweren Zeit, die wir alle jetzt durchmachen nicht ihre Kraft verlieren.
Ich werde Heath und vor allem sein Lachen in Erinnerung behalten. Er war ein außergewöhnlich talentierter Schauspieler. Mit seinen Filmen verbinde ich sehr viel Freude!

Ich kann es auch heute noch nicht fassen , das Heath Ledger wirklich tot sein soll, als meine Mutter es mir im Halbschlaf erzählte und ich morgens erwachte, dachte ich es war nur ein schlimmer Alptraum, doch das war es leider nicht!
Ich bin immer noch sehr sehr traurig und geschockt zumal er grad vorm großen Durchbruch stand, er war am Anfang seiner großen Karriere!
Ich wünsche seiner Familie alle Kraft die sie brauchen um damit fertig zu werden! Ich selbst weiß wie schwer es ist einen geliebten Menschen zu verlieren.
Auch seiner Tochter wünsch ich alles Gute, wenn er kann, wird er immer bei ihr sein!
Ich finde es ist einfach ungerecht, solch wundervolle Menschen aus dem Leben zu reißen!

I can’t hardly describe how much it’s hurts that Heath has past away.It is still unbelievable that he is gone forever. My heart stopped beating for a moment when I heard the message of his death.
I’m so sorry for Michelle and the little Matilda. And I think nobody can feel the pain of his family. So my heart and my wishes go out to the family of Heath. I wish You so much Power for that hard time.

It is an incredible loss of a great actor, of a great son, of a great father, of a great friend – of a great human being!
Heath has definitely touched and inspired so many people with his performances in his movies in this world!
He was (and still is) such an adorable, amazing and talented man who was just too young too die – that is the fact which makes his death even more harder to believe and to realize!
When I found out about his tragical death I could not realize this fact.
I started to search for the news on television because I wanted to see it with my own eyes whether it was true or just an terrible delusion.
And when I saw the police transporting the death body away from the house I just stared at my television and started to cry. I could not believe what I had just seen and still I can not and I do not want to realize it!
I wish You to find a way to cope with the death of Heath!

I´m not able to realize that he´s gone. There are so many thoughts in my head ´bout so different things. And the thought about how short life can be is present to me now.
Its a shocking loss to so many, a tragic loss to a few and surely
a unbelievable loss to those who loved him. Nothing will ever fill the hole that such a loss leaves. And nothing anyone could say or do will reduce the pain.
But as an adage says, noone who was loved will disappear completely. He´ll live on in the memories of his familiy, friends and thousands of his fans. Doubtless this couldn´t console his family and friends at the moment. But i hopefully wish that the day comes when it gives them comfort.
I´ll never forget you Heath, even though i´ve never known you. And i hopefully wish that i´m able to life my life consciously from now on, which told me your abrupt death. I´ll tell you when my time has come. See you in heaven!

Die meisten von uns hier wissen, wie schwer es ist, einen geliebten Menschen zu verlieren. Um jemanden zu trauern, den man persönlich nicht gekannt hat, fällt schwer. Durch seine Filme ist er uns jeodch trotzdem irgendwie wie ein Bekannter geworden. Ich werde ihn und sein aufheiterndes Lachen vermissen. Seiner Familie und vor allem seiner Tochter wünsche ich, dass sie trauern können, ohne dabei sich selbst zu vergessen. Trauer gehört dazu, aber das Leben muss irgendwann weiter gehen. Seiner ganzen Familie mein tiefstes Beileid und alles Glück dieser Welt…

Ich möchte mein herzliches Beileid aussprechen(aus Wien). Ich war noch nie so geschockt über einen prominenten Tod wie bei Heath Ledger. Ich bin ein ganz großer Fan von ihm seit 10 Jahren. Schon als ich ihm das erste mal in den Film der Patriot an der Seite von Mel Gibson gesehen habe war ich faszinier von ihm. Seine ganzes Charisma das er hatte, er hat mich mit seinen süßen sympathischen Lächeln immer angesteckt, man sah in seinen Rollen und auch immer bei Intervies und privaten Fotos die Freude am Leben. Die Freude seine Tochter zu haben. Es ist so schrecklich einen jungen Menschen so früh aus seinem Leben zureisen, leider wissen wir alle nicht was der wahre Grund seines Todes ist, aber ich denke wir sind uns alle sicher das es kein Selbstmord war sondern ein Unfall durch seinen starken Medikamenten. Seine kleine Tochter Matilda ist einer der Ärmsten sie wird nie die Chance bekommen ihren Vater kennenzulernen. Ich bin mir sicher er wäre noch ganz groß rausgekommen in den nächsten Jahre und hätte auch garantiert seinen eigenen Stern bekommen. Wir werden immer in Gedanken bei dir sein Heath!!!!!!!!!

Heath was such an amazing actor and warm and gently person! We all are so shocked and sad about that tragedy!
But no-one can imagine how much his death must hurt you: his family and friends – to loose such a great and beloved son, brother, nephew, father and friend…
We can´t help stand the pain in any way, but be sure we`ll send all our good wishes and prayers to you. We are grieving with you – even we didn´t have the great honor to know Heath really.
But he will always be in our hearts – as the wunderful person he seemed to be. He is still there – kept in loving memory!

I cannot stop thinking about Heath’s death… A real tragedy. And I cannot stop thinking of how sad Michelle, Matilda Rose and the family in Perth must be. I am sooooo sorry. I can’t find words to express my sympathy with the people who loved Heath.

Its hard to say goodbye to someone that you never really knew.
But still, I said „goodbye“ because Heath was my favourite actor. He definitively loved his life. Im sure about that- he loved his little daughter. And he never wanted to leave her alone.
He died to young. But he will be in our hearts forever.
My thoughts are with his family and friends.
We’ll miss him.

I was totally shocked when I read that Heath is dead. It’s such a big loss for his family, friends and fans.
I hope that his daughter Matilda will never forget his daddy and also I hope that his family is able to handle the mourning.

When I heard on the news that Heath is dead, it was like being hit over the head with a baseball club. I am so very sorry for his family, his Parents and his little daughter.
Heath was a great actor and I simply loved his movies. You could see how much he loved acting, that it was an art for him. He could have been one of the really Great Hollywood- legends.
He will live on in his movies, but no one can imagine the great empty space he leaves behind for his family and his friends.

When I head the he is dead, I can beleve it. I though they are joking, but it was no bad joke, it was real.
I can imagened how his family aspecially his parents and daughter are feeling right now, but I am very sorry with them.
He was a great actor and he will life in his movies, in his daughter and in our heards.

I was really shocked, everything seemed so normal and then this. It always meets the wrong ones. He was a magnificent actor and really nice person. I liked his kind and, actually, everything from him.
I think he is at a nice place and it goes well to him there. I will preserve him forever in memory!!!
There is a big hole in the hearts of his family, his parents, his sister and his daughter… So my thoughts are with them.

It feels like the whole world is drowning in sadness just right now. Heath was a fabulous actor and I bet he also was a fabulous guy. I know a lot of people are crying, but I’m sure that soon we’ll all smile when we think of this very special person – as an actor, as a son, as a brother, as a father, as a friend. He’ll always be on our minds, he will never be forgotten.

When I heard about his death in the radio, I couldn’t believe it and now, three days later I still haven’t realized that he will never come back. He was a part of my youth and now he is gone.
I’m just a girl form Germany who watched some of his films (not enough to call myself a _real_ fan) but I cried when I watched the news and saw how they carried his dead body out of the house. I couldn’t get it into my head that it was him, who laid under this tarpaulin (I don’t know if it is the right word).
I don’t want to imagine how his friends and his family have to feel about his death. None of the fans can feel what they feel, because _we_ lost an brilliant actor, _they_ lost a person! A beloved son, father and friend. I really hope it helps them to know that he will be missed all over the world. Not in the same way they will miss him, but he will be missed!
Especially I’m very sorry for his daughter. I think she is at the moment too young to understand what happened or to be able to remember how he was, but I think there is a wonderful family that will tell her when she is old enough to understand.
He will stay forever in our minds as a guy who made us laughing, crying, thinking, wishing…

Why am I feeling deepest sadness? Why am I crying? Why are my thoughts with Heath? I never met him, I never spoke to him, I never saw him walking cross the street…. Why does Heath touch my heart like this without even knowing him? It`s his personality, it`s his spirit, it`s his smile…. May Heath`s family be strong, may Matilda be sheltered by her daddy in heaven!! It`s indescribable…I still can`t believe what happend!!

i still can’t believe it. Heath Legder was one of the greatest actors in the whole world. He was my favourite actor since “10 things I hate about you” and I simply loved his movies.
it must be very hard for you (his family and friends). and especially for his little daugther. she has to grow up without such a great daddy.
there’s only one thing i can tell you: inside of us he keeps on living.

I heard about it early in the morning when I woke up. First I thougt it was just a dream, but now I know that me and my fiends can´t have the same bad dream. Everytime I go into my room and see his picture at my wall, I´m sad again. I hope everyday that he would stand up and says that he only was sleeping. I think Heath was a nice guy. I love his smile and his eyes. He was down-to-earth and that´s a important thing for an actor, I think. I love his roles in films. „10 things I hate about you“ is one of my favorite films and he was one of my favorite actors.
I think I would never forget him.

Heath Ledger was a wonderful man. I saw some of his movies and he got me to cry as well as he got me to laugh! Heath was an amazing actor! But he was not a typical Hollywood actor, no he was unimpressed of all the fame and glory he got as an Hollywood actor, he was a man who was down to earth and that makes him so special to me.
I hope he had a fulfilled life. I am sorry for all who has known him better then I did. I am going to keep him in loving memories and I hope everyone who knows him a little bit does! Matilda, I know you might be too young to remember your dad, but you can be proud of him!!! He’s your dad and he will always have an eye on, even in heaven! You lost a loved person, one of the most important in your life, but be strong. I don’t think he had gone forever, he is still in his families and friends and still in our hearts! That makes him immortal!
I don’t know why his death thouched my heart like this, I never met him, but when I see his movies I get to think I might know something of him, like he really is, because every person he played, he played it with his heart and soul! I was really upset of his death, when I heard of it I thought it would be a dream, but when I realiced it, tears were running down my face. It was like I lost a good friend, though I never got the chance to meet him. I can’t immagine how his family and friends have to feel…
It’s okay to mourn but life is going on, so please look forward.. go step after step into the future!

Als ich am Mittwoch morgen in den Nachrichten hörte das Heath Ledger tot ist, konnte ich das gar nicht glauben!
Wir alle kannten ihn leider nicht persönlich aber er ist einer der BESTEN Schauspieler!Ich hab in jeder seiner Rolle mit Ihm mitgefühlt!Und ich denke er war auch im privaten Leben ein wundervoller Mensch der jeden mit seinem Lächeln verzaubern konnte und immer für seine Freunde, Familie und Tochter da war!

Liebe Familie Ledger, liebe Michelle und Matilda,
der Tod von Heath hat uns alle sehr getroffen. Wir sind erschrocken darüber wie früh er sterben musste, er hatte doch noch so viel vor sich. Seine Fans verlieren einen tollen Schauspieler, der mit seinen Filmen sehr viel Freude in unser Leben gebracht hat. Er hatte die Gabe, uns mitzureißen und konnte mit einem Lächeln jedem Tag ein wenig Sonnenschein bringen. Aber wie schwer muss es erst für Sie sein, die Sie ihm als seine Familie am nächsten stehen. Vor allem ist es so traurig, dass seine kleine Tochter jetzt ohne ihn aufwachsen muss. Hoffentlich erfährt sie später, nicht nur von ihrer Mutter, sondern auch von den Fans, was für ein besonderer Mensch ihr Vater war, und was er auch uns Fans bedeutet hat. Wir hoffen, dass die Worte der Fans der Familie ein wenig Trost spenden können, auch wenn wir ihnen den Schmerz nicht nehmen können.
Ich wünsche der Familie viel Trost und Kraft diese Zeit zu überstehen, und Michelle viel Stärke um ihre Tochter jetzt ohne Vater aufzuziehen.
Heath war ein unglaublicher Schauspieler und ein toller Mensch. Er wird immer in unserem Herzen bleiben.

Als ich am morgen des 23. Januars lesen musst das Heath von uns gegangen ist, hat es mir das Herz gebrochen! Ich konnte es einfach nicht glauben und musste sofort meinen Partner aus dem Bett holen und ihm die schlechte Nachricht mitteilen.
Es kam so unerwartet und daher auch für mich persöhnlich unbegreifbar!
Was für mich so schlimm ist, das am 22. Januar der Geburtstag meines Sohnens ist! Ich werde also ein Leben lang jeweils an seiem Geburtstag an Heath Ledger denken! Dies möchte ich auch seiner Familie miteilen. Er wird in meinem Herzen immer ein Platz haben
Ich wünsche den Eltern, Geschwister, Michelle, Matilda und sonstigen Angehörigen und Freunden viel Kraft das Sie diese Schwere Zeit gut überstehen.

i’m very sad about heaths death. he was too young! and he was a great actor – he was my favourite actor! but he still will be my favourite actor for ever, in my heart and i my mind he’s still living. he was a special sort of actor – he played his roles so real and with a lot of emotions. if his partens will really see all this comments: he’s now in heaven. but not only. he will look of us. and don’t believe in speculations from the outside – they don’t now anything. but you do. and that’s the only thing which counts! do always think of the great times with heath! it’ll makes you happy! i hope, my words will help you a little bit . . . perhaps you’d be better!

i was so sad to hear of this terrible news that Heath isn’t anymore. I could not believe it untill i read it in a newspaper. It is not fair, and words can not explain what i feel, i’m so sorry.
I put on a candle in the Cathedral (Münster) in Strasbourg (France) and prayed for him and his little daughter.
I thank him for so many wonderful movie-moments and he’ll stay in my heart.

Er war mein Lieblingsschauspieler! Er war wirklich einer der besten und er hat was von seinem Hnadwerk verstanden.
Ich weiß nicht woran er genau gestorben ist aber auch wenn es drogen waren ist der deshalb kein schlechterer mensch für mich!!
Mir tut nur seine ganze Familie leid vor allem seine kleine Tochter die nicht verstehen kann warum ihr Vater nicht mehr da ist!!
Ich hoffe die kleine wird ihn ewig als guten Menschen in erinnerung halten genauso wie wir seine Fans.

I don’t really know how to express this tragically loss of this incredible good actor. Heath Ledger has inspired me in many ways he was such a great actor. I can’t realize that he is gone and will never come back. He has put so much effort into the caracters he played and I think we all should use this energy for our lifes. The good people die youg and Mister Ledger was definitely a good person! Hollywodd has lost a great talent.
He was unique and no one is able to fill this huge hole.

I don’n know what to say…
There are no words for the sorrow I feel for this big loss.
I did’n knew heath in person, but I feel so sad as if I did. It is so hard to accept that he is gone.
I love his movies (especially Brokeback Mountain, it’s a invaluable movie for eternity) so much. I know that he acted a part, also in public, but he had so affectionate and kindhearted eyes. It can’t be a role! I’m sure he was a very nice and genial person.
I’m so sorry for you all, who knew and loved him so much.

When I heard the first time about Heath`s Death I didn´t want to believe it and I hoped that I misunderstood the news on radio, but in the following hours it came slowly to my mind and I was really shocked. I even got ill on that shock. I never was a big fan of Heath, i loved his work and his look of cause and he is one of my favourite actors but I never really was a big Fan. So I was not sad because of the fact that he won´t make any movies or that I won´t have the chance to meet him anymore or whatever, I just was sad for him and his family, for the human Heath, not for the actor.
He was so young and seemed to be so warm-hearted what makes it just unfair that he had to pass away. But I think, as long as we don´t forget him, and I know we will not, he will live on in our hearts. These are not just some words they´ve got really a meaning even though they could sound a little bit used.
To the family:

ich bin einfach nur unsagbar traurig. er hatte eine unglaublich ehrliche ausstrahlung. jeder der ihn wirklich gekannt hat, kann sich glücklich schätzen, weil ich denke dass er ein wundervoller mensch war. wieder hat eine grossartige persönlichkeit die welt verlassen – aber nicht ohne berührt zu haben. …auch nach einer Woche geht das dumpfe Gefühl, das die Nachricht über Heath tot hinterlassen hat nicht weg. Ich bin tieftraurig. Unvorstellbar, immer noch!

…ich kann mich noch daran erinnern, dass ich früher oft „Der Patriot“ auf Video geschaut habe … bis zur der Stelle als Heath gestorben ist, dann hab ich immer zurückgespult und gesehen, dass er noch da ist …
…leider ist es im wirklichen Leben nicht so, dass man einfach die zeit zurückdrehen kann um etwas zu ändern…
Ich wünsche seiner Familie und seinen Freunden, dass sie genug Kraft besitzen, dies zu überstehen!

Heath Ledger war mein absoluter Lieblingssschauspieler, seitdem ich ihn in „Ritter aus Leidenschaft“ gesehen habe. Einerseits werde ich ihn sehr vermissen, anderesseits wird er durch seine Filme ewig in unseren Herzen bleiben und wir werden ihn nie vergessen. Mein Beileid geht an seine Familie, vor allem an seine kleine Tochter, die jetzt ohne ihren Vater aufwachsen muss. Er ist viel zu jung gestorben, ich war geschockt als ich die Nachricht im Radio gehört habe… doch wie schon gesagt werde ich ihn nie vergessen, weil er einer der größten Schauspieler war, die ich je gesehen habe.

Dear Fam. Ledger, dear Michelle and Matilda,
when I heard about the death of Heath I was totally shocked. He was my favorite actor and I think he would have had a great fortune. I can´t imagine how hard it must be for you as his family and beloved ones. For me as a fan it was an honor to see his movies. He was such a great actor, with his smile he gave us so much joy and with his work he touched our hearts. I will miss him and I feel especially sorry for the fact, that Matilda has to grow without him. As Michelle said that she will raise her with the best memories of him, we do our best to give her the feeling that her father was loved by so many people. I totally understand that you want to give him the last honor in privacy. His fans will nevertheless keep him allways in their hearts and think of him as we watch his movies.
I know that we can´t help you through the pain, but I hope that all the posts in this blog can give you a little bit of strength. With our thoughts we are with all of you and we will pray for heath, that he will rest in peace and watches over Matilda wherever he is. If we keep him in our hearts he will never be gone.

Wie die mesiten kannte ich ihn nicht wirklich, sondern nur aus den Medien.
An seinem Auftreten konnte man aber sehen, daß er offensichtlich ein ruhiger, nachdenklicher, netter und eher schüchterner Mensch war.
Nicht wie die Anderen!
…und genau das und seine Filmrollen mach(t)en ihn so liebenswert.
Ich wünsche seiner Familie und besonders seiner kleinen Tochter alles Gute.
Heath, du bist jetzt an einem besseren Ort.
Ich weiß wir werden uns alle irgendwann wieder sehen – und nur das hilft mir.

I’m really sad about Heath death. He was an so amazing actor in all movies he played. When I heard about his death, I had an cold feeling over my body. It is so dramatic, that he died so young at the age of 28, by an accident. My feelings are with his family, Michelle and Mathilda Rose. I’m sad about Mathilda Rose, that she lost her daddy at an accident and she don’t understand yet, what happend with her daddy.
I hope that you find peace over his death.

Er war ein wunderbarere Schauspieler und es tut mir unendlich leid, dass er so früh sterben musste.

Ich saß wie geschockt vorm Fernseher und dachte mir, dass kann doch nicht sein. Wieso gerade er? Was ist das für ein Gott, der so einen wunderbaren Menschen durch einen „Unfall sterben lässt?!
Meine Trauer sitzt sehr tief. Ich kanns mir selbst nicht erklären, warum trauer ich um jemanden den ich eigentlich nicht mal kannte? Er hat einfach mein Herz berührt, sein Lächeln, seine Augen, einfach alles.
Wenn ich Bilder seiner kleinen Tochter Mathilda sehe kommen mir die Tränen. Sie ist ihm wie aus dem Gesicht geschnitten. Leider wird sie ihren Daddy nie kennen lernen können. Es tut mir so leid für diese süße kleine Maus.
Mein Beileid auch an seine Famiele und an alle die mit mir um einen wunderbaren Mensche trauern.

It’s been a knight’s tale…Heath’s tale…with an end so tragic and unexpected, that one would like to place it in a movie where it belongs. But unfortunately, there is no „Review“-button for what happened and what stung so many people so badly.
This tale could have ended so beautifully and yet, his loved-ones have to find a way to deal with the fact, that there is no happy ending this time.
An artist, a man, a friend, a partner, a son and a father…is gone all at once.
But like every hero in a tale, he will remain in our hearts and he will be remembered in the way he affected his family and his friends, what he has done for them and how he enriched their lives.
It says „Legends never die“. But what is a legend compared to a loved person? If we carry his warmth and his image inside our hearts, he will become a part of it. And this part will live on for as long as there is love, friendship and loveful memory.
Because memories never die….

I was terribly shocked during my work experince in france hearing about heath´s death!
for you, as his family and friends, arises a great hole and even for me as a great fan something´s missing!
i will keep heath in memory as a great actor, beloved person, handsome guy, honest man…simply a great man, who will live in each and everyone´s memory!
it´s hard that such a talented young man has met his death early!
he will stay in my heart and will live on for als long as there is love, friendship and loveful memory….and this memory will never die!

I never felt so sad about an unknown person before.Sure Heath was a brilliant actor,i think he was a very friendly and wonderfull person with a lovely smile,full of warmth.Someone you like to have as a good friend.He loved to be a father and i think he was a great one for Matilda.She will know it when she get older.Hope you are in a right and peacefull place now,looking for your little girl all the time.I send my sincere condolences to the hole Family,to Michelle and Matilda and all who will always love him.

At first my condolence for you! I´m a 41 years old woman from a little Town named Herdecke in Germany. I´m very sad an I write this with Tears in my Eyes. The terrible Message I saw in the TV-Night-News from Germany on January, the 22. I didn´t understand it. Why Heath? What´s happen?
Since 7 Years I´m a great Fan from Heath. I have all his films at my Home. He was an exelent Actor and probably a sensitive Person. Why did anyone help him in his strong Time? When he was my man – I would never leave him!
His little daughter Matilda-Rose – she is so breakable – what did she say? I think, he was a very good father, son and brother for you all.
Your sorrow are my sorrow. I can understand you! I´ve lost five People in the last Years – my two grandma´s, grandpa´s and at last my father. My Mother and I are very alone today.

Ich war schokiert. und tief betroffen. Ich fand Heath so aussergewöhnlich – gutaussehend und talentiert. Ich bin sehr betroffen, dass er so früh von uns gehen musste. Ich hätte ihn so gerne öfter gesehen. Seine arme Tochter wird ihn nie wieder sehen.

Ich war sehr geschockt, als ich es erfuhr.
Ich kann nicht wirklich von mir behaupten, dass ich ein großer Fan von ihm, dazu habe ich zu wenige Filme mit ihm gesehen. Das werde ich jetzt nachholen…
Er war ein richtig guter Schauspieler und sein Tod war sinnlos und grausam!
Mein Beileid gilt seiner Familie und vor allem seiner Tochter, die nie die Chance bekommen wird ihren wunderbaren Vater wirklich kennen zu lernen.
Der Tod kommt schnell und unerwartet, aber er gehört dazu…

Was soll ich sagen…
Ich vermisse ihn so sehr… Man könnte meinen, er wäre mir sehr nahe gestanden. Jeden Tag denke ich an Heath und frage mich, wie es wohl seiner Familie geht?
Heath wird bis zu unserem Lebensende in unseren Herzen sein und wenn unsere Zeit dann gekommen ist, werden wir ihn wieder sehen. Im Himmel werden wir ihn alle wieder sehen und in die Arme nehmen und ihm in die Augen sehen und sagen: Heath, wir haben dich so vermisst, wir lieben dich über alles!
Bis dahin müssen wir stark sein und wir dürfen Heath in unserer Erinnerung tragen.
Es wird Tage geben, an denen er uns sehr nahe ist. Ja, ich kann ihn manchmal sehen, wenn ich meine Augen schliesse.
Es wird Zeiten geben, in denen der Schmerz so gross ist, dass man es fast nicht mehr aushält und man wünscht, man wäre bei ihm.
In allen Zeiten die auf uns zu kommen, müssen wir Heath`s Familie unterstützen und an sie denken, wann immer wir können. Wir Fans untereinander wollen doch auch füreninander da sein und diese schwere Zeit miteinander durchstehen.

When you loose something you can`t replace…though i didn`t ever really, it was one of the biggest shocks of my life to hear that heath is dead and even now, 7 months after he died, i’m still crying when i read an article about him or see „the patriot“ for example. i can’t see that movie anymore cause i can’t stand it. i just took the chance to see him in „i’m not there“ in cinema and soon, there’ll be „the dark knight“.
well, all his movies and especially his daughter will always keep us reminded of this fantastic actor and i know, one day, i’m gonna visit him, when i get to perth.
i hope to become an actress as well, maybe only in theatres but i know that i will think of him from time to time as i already do now.
that’s all i got to say.

was soll ich schreiben..
als ich es im tv das 1 mal gesehen hab dachte ich erst es wäre ein scherz oder ein irrtum..aber als ich es zum 2 und 3 mal gesehen und gehört habe wurde es mir klar ..er war tot ..,der weltbeste schauspieler war tot!!
ich war tagelang unter schock!!
warum? warum ist er tot?
er war doch noch so jung,29!!
ich möchte der familie und den freunden von heath mein beileit aussprechen!!
ich würde echt alles geben damit heath wieder bei uns ist..und so coole filme wie z.B dem neuen (und letzten film) von ihm *the dark night* dreht!! oder das er wieder lächelt..!!

I just want to write that I think heath is (was) the best actor ever.
I don’t know him, but I guess all the people loves and admire him so much for that was he gave them. So I think he is the realest person in the showbuisness that we ever had and I want to give all my respect to his family and friends! I wish all the force of the world to them…also when he isn’t alive anymore, he’s going to be in our hearts for ever and I hope we can feel him everytime next to us. The place where he is now would be give him the last peace.

Ich hab mich leider erst viel zu spät mit dem Menschen Heath Ledger beschäftigt aber ich vermisse ihn er war ein wahnsinnig guter Schauspieler der in jede Rolle schlüpfen konnte!!
Bei jedem Film den ich mit ihn sehe bekomm ich Herzklopfen und muss daran denken diesen Menschen wirst du nie wieder spielen sehen ausser in seinen alten Filmen!!
Ich werde ihn niemals vergessen und für immer mein Lieblingschauspieler bleiben es gibt keinen besseren

Seit „10 Dinge die ich an dir hasse“ fand nich ihn einfach nur super. Und als dann noch BBM rauskam, war ich nicht mehr zu halten. Er war ein super Schauspieler und ich denke er hätte noch soooo viele gute Filme gedreht und das ist wirklich traurig. Es gibt so viele schlechte Schauspieler, es ist so ungerecht das es ihn treffen musste. Den Oscar hat er verdient, obwohl er leider nix mehr damit anfanen kann und auch nicht weiß das er einen bekommen hat, aber wer weiß vielleicht wacht er über Hollywood…und über seiner kleinen Tochter, die ihm wie aus dem Gesicht geschnitten ist, ich hoffe sie führt irgendwann seit Werk weiter

Es hat mich wirklich tief berührt, als ich realisiert habe, dass Heath tot ist. Nachdem ich eine seiner Biographien gelesen habe, wurde es etwas besser.
Ich denke, allein schon wegen seinen großarigen Leistungen als Schauspieler wird er uns allen immer im Gedächtnis bleiben! Er war eine Bereicherung für jeden Film und sicherlich auch für jeden, der ihn kannte. Ich kann nur mein herzlichstes Beileid an seine Familie und seine Tochter aussprechen und sagen, dass ich selbst Heath auch vermisse… :´(
